The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Monday announced that 29 players will take part in a fitness camp in Kakul, Abbottabad. 

After taking back retirement recently, all-rounder Imad Wasim and pacer Mohammad Amir have been called up. Meanwhile, batter Usman Khan, one of the top performers of PSL 9, has also been included.  

The camp is set to be held from March 26 and will conclude on April 8. The players will report in the camp later today.

“The camp, organized in collaboration with Pakistan Army, strategically prepares the players for the upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20I series against New Zealand, the T20I series against Ireland and England, and the upcoming I CC T20 World Cup in America and West Indies, PCB said in a press release.

“The camp will focus on team building and aims to enhance the physical and mental strength of the players, ensuring that they are in the best shape to face the challenges ahead.

“Under the guidance of experienced trainers and coaches. Players will undergo a comprehensive training regime designed to enhance their fitness levels, agility, leadership and strategic thinking and overall performance on the field.” HD Live Sports

It must be noted that Pakistan team is currently without a coaching staff but PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday stated that the management was working on it. He said that the PCB was making a proper panel for the coaches which is in the final stages.

Naqvi said that there will be national as well as international coaches for the national team. Which will be finalized in four to five days.

Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim, Fakhar, Sahibzada Farhan, Haseebullah, Saud Shakeel. Usman Khan, Haris, Salman Ali , Azam Khan, Iftikhar, Irfan Khan Niazi, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Usama Mir. Nawaz, Mehran Mumtaz, Abrar , Shaheen Shah , Naseem Shah, Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Ali, Zaman Khan. Wasim Jnr, Aamir Jamal, Rauf, and Mohammad Amir.
