Man Utd’s Ten Hag
The Red Devils prepare to take on Liverpool in an FA Cup clash
Manchester United head coach Erik Ten Hag opened up on the possibility of selling star attacker Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the upcoming transfer window.
Rashford has only scored 12 goals in 47 matches across competitions and with his ongoing off-the-field issues, questions are arising within the club
Speaking ahead of United’s FA Cup match against Liverpool. Ten Hague admitted that he has no intention of selling Rashford. Because he is considered as one of the most important players of the match.
“We didn’t re-sign him for four years last season with the intention of selling him. No,” ten Hague said at a press conference.
“He should be part of this project. It’s not a subject we talk about.”
PSG has been a long admirer of Rashford, they tried to bring the forward to the French capital last year but he ended up renewing his contract with the 20-time Premier League champions.
The French powerhouses are once again increasing their interest in the 26-year-old. Because his position in the Manchester club is not improving.
PSG star player
PSG star player Kylian Mbappe is expected to complete his long wait at Real Madrid. And the French club does not want to be without a franchise player when the 2018 World Cup winner leaves. And they see Rashford as a man to replace him.
Remember, United will host Liverpool in their FA Cup match on Sunday. And Ten Hague will be rooting for Rashford with United supporters. May he step up and lead his team to glory. The Dutchman believes the Englishman’s pace will be key against the Reds’ backline.
“We’re very good when we have space behind the defensive line,” Ten Hague said. “We will have the same intention for Sunday, we will go. And will be brave and go ahead where possible. HD Live Sports
“We know when there is space.
Behind their defensive line we can take advantage of that – but we have to get to that point. To outplay them, they have to get the balls there. And that requires good strategy at key moments.”
