Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on Sunday

Liverpool are cautiously optimistic about their title chances as the Premier League enters decisive phase, according to manager Juergen Klopp.

The Reds came from a goal down to overpower Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 and top the Premier League table on Sunday.

.Brighton went ahead after just 84 seconds through Danny Welbeck. But Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah ensured Liverpool secured all three points.

“When I talk about being nervous as a whole unit, we were more nervous years ago,” German told reporters on Sunday.

Replying to a question on whether Salah is back in top form in terms of sharpness after his injury, Klopp said: “Yes, playing-wise, absolutely. Imagine if Mo would have finished off all the situations in his career, that would have been crazy numbers, so it is absolutely fine.

In response to the question whether Salah has returned to top form in terms of sophistication after his injury. Klopp said: Yes, in terms of the game, think if Mo had eliminated all these situations in his career. It’s okay if it’s a crazy number.
