We have Chennai in Chennai. Played, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anything like it. When he [Dhoni] came out to bat,” Starc said while talking to the HD Live Sports channel.

“There’s only 30,000 people in that stadium and the noise was… we’re all on the field and it was nothing really. I’ve never heard of playing or watching sports in a stadium.”

Starc then added that a hundred thousand people in the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will not stand a chance against Chennai when Dhoni comes out to bat.

“One lakh people at the MCG don’t stand a chance compared to 35,000 in Chennai. When Dhoni comes to bat – it’s ridiculous,” he added.
