Multan defeated Peshawar by seven wickets on Thursday

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam opened up after his side lost to Multan Sultans in the Qualifier of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine on Thursday in Karachi.

Speaking after the match ,Babar Azam said that his side was around 20 runs short of the par score while batting first.

“We got a good start but lost wickets in the middle overs. I thought 160-170 was a par score but we couldn’t finish well,” Azam said after the match.

However, Babar Azam also said that if he had stayed on the pitch till the end of the innings things would have been different.

He bowled well so I tried to build the innings. But I got out early. If I lived there. So maybe it would have been a different ball game,” he added.
