Cricket Australia contracts 2024-25:
Australia Cricket has handed out central contracts to four new players for the 2024-25 season but has left out veteran allrounder Marcus Stoinis from their 23-man list. Xavier Bartlett, has only played three games for Australia. (all in 2024), joining Nathan Ellis, Matt Short and Aaron Hardy.
While Bartlett cuts for the first time, the other three players have effectively retained their spots. Although he was not initially given the contract. But he earned an upgrade throughout the season by playing for Australia in ODIs and T20Is.
Since the contract is effective after this year’s T20 World Cup, David Warner did not cut it. Because he plans to bring down the curtain on his international career after the showpiece event. HD Live Sports

Matt Renshaw, who has recently been selected in the squad as a back-up batsman after Warner’s Test retirement. T20 specialist Tim David also did not make the cut.
However, Jhye Richardson has managed to retain his spot despite not turning out for Australia since June 2022 due to a frustrating spell on the sidelines with injuries.
