Euro 2024: Here are the complete groups, schedule, list of venues

Euro 2024
Euro 2024

The competition begins on June 14

The Euro 2024 is just less than three months away and after the completion of the play-offs, the final three teams have been confirmed for the summer’s tournament in Germany.

The competition begins on June 14 with the hosts’ opener and concludes in the Berlin final exactly a month later.

The field is wide open, too. Germany are not preferred despite their home advantage with defending champions Italy not exactly on a great run of form since lifting the trophy at Wembley three years ago, having missed the World Cup. HD Live Sports

France are expected to be a major force once again, led by Kylian Mbappe, while Spain, Portugal, Croatia and the Netherlands can never be discounted at this level.

England will be among the favorites to have cruised through qualification. And have looked like serious contenders in the last three major tournaments.

The Euro 2024 play-offs completed the line-up for the tournament, with Georgia booking their ticket by beating Greece on penalties for the first time. Ukraine bounced back to defeat Iceland. While Wales lost to Poland in a tough penalty shootout.

Again, the 24-team tournament is divided into six groups of four. The top two from each group automatically qualify for the last 16. And the four top-ranked third place finishers will join them.

In total, 24 teams will participate in the tournament with Poland, Ukraine and Georgia progressing via the play-offs.
