Iftikhar Ahmed fined for using ‘inappropriate language’
The incident took place in the third over of Quetta Gladiators’ batting
For using inappropriate language during the match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday. Multan Sultans all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed was fined five percent of the match fee.
According to PCB, Iftikhar was guilty of a Level 1 breach of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Code of Conduct.
Iftikhar violated Article 2.5 of the PSL Code of Conduct. Which reads: “The use of language, gestures or gestures which may lead to an offensive reaction by a batsman to his dismissal during a match”.
This incident happened in the third over of Quetta Gladiators’ batting. When Iftikhar was seen using inappropriate language for the dismissed batsman.
“PCB said in a press release that since Iftikhar Ahmed accepted the charge. And accepted the sanctions recommended by match referee Ali Naqvi. So a formal hearing was not required.”The allegation was made by on-field umpires Rashid Riaz and Richard Illingworth.”

The Zimbabwe all-rounder was fined 10 percent of his match fee for a Level 1 breach of PSL’s code of conduct.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board imposed a fine of 10% of the match fee on Islamabad United’s Star pacer bowler Naseem Shah.
This penalty was played between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Sunday. Charged for a Level 1 breach of the PSL Code of Conduct for players and player support persons during the match.
Naseem had kicked the stumps after the end of the Multan Sultans’ innings.
